Who We Are:

Without Limits Christian Center is a non-denominational Word of Faith Church focused on making a positive impact in the city of New Bern by creating a citywide family center where all individuals and families can grow in faith and discover God's plan for their lives.

Without Limits is a blend of brand-new believers and established, mature Christians. We are everyone from business owners to school bus drivers to homemakers, and most importantly, we are people hungry for more of God in our lives.

Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible—a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.

In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.

You’ll find that this is a place where you really matter—because you matter to God. What people usually notice first is the love and acceptance that they feel. A caring atmosphere, quality leadership, and community outreach is attracting people from all ages, religious backgrounds, races, and walks of life.

About Dr. James McIver, Jr.

Pastor James is a dynamic preacher, successful businessman, former United States Marine, loving husband and father. He is - without a doubt - on a mission for the Kingdom of God. 

With a strong desire to see people achieve their goals and live life without limits, he attracts numerous people from all walks of life through the dynamic preaching, strong leadership and sincerity that he displays for everyone he comes into contact with. 

He travels internationally building up ministries on the mission field and has a strong desire to see the poor cared for.  His devotion, dedication and compassion drive him to spend countless hours mentoring others and imparting God’s desire for every believer to live life without limits.

About First Lady LeConté McIver

First Lady LeConte’ McIver is the wife of Dr. James McIver, Jr., Pastor and Founder of Without Limits Christian Center in New Bern, NC.  They were married on December 5, 1998 and together, they have two children, James “Jay” McIver, III and Hannah McIver. 

Devoted to the ministry, she assists her husband with a variety of duties, ensuring that his God-given mandate is fulfilled.  She has a desire to see God’s purposes fulfilled in the lives of others.  Through her compassion, encouragement & dedication, she prompts and inspires others to go after God and live the “Amazing Life!”
